I avoided the crush of people and slept till 7:30 Black Friday. The hubby had to be at work at 6 a.m. so I really didn't want to do the Black Friday shopping with a 1 1/2 year old. That would be a recipe for disaster!
We did hit up one of the local Hallmark stores that is having a going out of business sale. I got two cards and two Yankee Candles for $23. Not bad. Then we went to Walgreens to get a few of the things off their 3 day sale... I got 3 shave gels, 3 Hot Wheel cars, 1 Colgate toothpaste, 3 head-ache relief meds for a whopping $8 and some change after I used a $2 Register Reward. I got back $3.49 in Register Rewards. Not bad. I really wanted the 64 count Crayons for .99 but they were out of those. I was happy with what I got though. I'll probably save the cars for Monkey for his 2 year birthday.
Anyone get good bargains? I ordered several CDs and DVDs on Amazon... they were having a decent sale online. I'm looking forward to the Cyber Monday sales!

Well, my two year old had fever all day Friday, so we stayed in. I'm so glad you found some good bargains. It sounds like I need to check out some online bargains.

ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to grab one of the 64 ct Crayons. I was hoping to find 3 for stocking stuffers this year. 1 will have to do! Grabbed a few Hot Wheels cars for the stockings too. :) You've got a great blog. Love the Thanksgiving placecards! Thanks for the mention on your blog list. :)
