I made a little plaque thingy this week using a piece of old floorboard I found. I had the hubby cut off the torn off end and then painted it and decoupaged scrapbook paper that coordinates with our bedroom on it. I think it looks pretty snazzy for being a discarded piece of wood.

That is super cute!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope your little one gets feeling better soon, and that you all will be able to rest up! Such a cute sign! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is cute.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your little man is so sick. It is so hard to take care of them when they are like that--I just want to hold Stink all the time. You are right though- the nights are the most awful. No matter how many vaporizers, Vicks rub, medicine, or what not you use, they still don't sleep well. Hope he feels better soon!
Cute idea, I love anything "reinvented!" Make me wonder why we ever buy anything new! Hope your child is better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and the little one are better very soon!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your sick child. AUGH!! I always felt so bad for my kids when they were sick. Wears you out too.
ReplyDeleteCute plaque "thingy". You come up with such cute ideas.
Have a great day.

Very cute! Just dropping by from SITS!
ReplyDeleteVery Cute. Love it on the little ledge. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love using things that are reclaimed! Right now I have a dresser that we have had since the birth of our first child (actually before, as we had the nursery all set up before she was born). It is made out of really nice wood. The drawers have been out of wack for years. Now we've finally run out of room for it. I couldn't bring myself to part with it though! So, I took it all apart (you should have seen that one!). Now it's sitting in the shed waiting for the perfect projects (the sides of one drawer are already in the midst of becoming shelves in my craft room). I'm thinking of a wood play kitchen for the kids? Anyways, cute project! Somehow things are even cuter when you've reused something for a new purpose! I love trying to live green!
