Cutesie Cute Little Table

I decided to tackle a little side table that I've been meaning to paint for... let's see.... around 6 years! Yes, that's my procrastination at it's best! I wasn't sure what color to paint it but on a whim this week, I mixed a green up when I was at my dad's hardware store and got to work.

My dad picked this table up for me at an estate sale shortly after D & I got married (6 years in March!). I kind of liked the vintage look, but it really didn't fit in with my house. It's a sturdy table that I keep in a corner to hold some essentials in my dining room.

In the process of being sanded down

The finished table... do you like the paint color? I hope so because you're going to see it again on another project.
I'm getting used to the bright color - it's a little out of my usual black or white box. I love that it adds an unexpected spot of color in my dining room!
Edited: The color is Acid Green by Kwal Paint.

  3. I like it! I usually wouldn't be drawn to that kind of color, but it does give a nice pop. Good job! :)

  4. Oh My - I don't think you could have picked a BETTER color. I love it. Yes, I have a lot of black and white myself but I jus' painted my kitchen lime green. It's just so happy! You did great. And as for the cricut - I love mine. I bought the bigger one - but it already had 2 cartridges plus the cutting mat which would have had to have been purchased with the smaller one. So it kind of equaled out. Anyway, good luck and I hope you get it - you'll love it. Blessings, Cathy

  8. This is so cute! This green looks like the same apple green I used to paint my tables in my living room! I too was wanting the more fun and vibrant color, but it did take a little getting used to, now I just love it! I like reading and looking at your blog. I will be following for updates now! Thanks for sharing!
