Life's gotten in the way of decent crafting and blogging lately. What's up with that??? Doesn't life know I need creative time? I thought I'd show you a few things from life...
The hubby & I got away for the weekend... we did some shopping (as in Michael's, Hobby Lobby & 2 trips to Super Target!!!), relaxing and EATING... we ate at the Melting Pot for the first time and it was a great experience!
I found these ceramic eggs at Hobby Lobby and thought they'd be fun to paint... they were $1.55 each and were back by the unfinished wood products... I also saw paper mache type eggs that would be fun to decoupage scrapbook papers to.

I found these fun ribbons at Michael's on sale... they had soooo many CAUTE ribbons. I started some seeds this week... I'm ready to get my garden going! I also bought some plants but it looks like I'm going to have to wait until next week to plant them... it's supposed to be 70 on Thursday and snowing on Friday! Oklahoma weather. Here's my yummy lunch from today... I used to eat these all the time growing up... English muffin pizzas! So good and easy to make! Today I filled in at my old office and tomorrow I'm keeping a 3 month old baby for the day so it should be interesting!
I was sooo tempted to buy some wood eggs at Michaels the other day, with plans of starting up another project...then reality hit and said, "You haven't finished any of the projects you are already working on!" Stupid reality had to spoil it for me. :) Hopefully I can get at least some of my current projects finished before the move... :-/
ReplyDeleteI have wanted to started a little garden, and didnt even think to go back to the roots of egg cartons... i love that.. im so going to try it...
ReplyDeleteYou have such great ideas!
Im glad you came back to blog world... we missed you...
WOW! I used to always make english muffin pizzas too!!!
ReplyDeleteWe'd put spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese on top :)
Ohhh those english muffins look divine. I want to see those eggs when you are done with them.
ReplyDeleteI love Michaels! It's such a glorious place!
ReplyDeleteInstead of paying $1.55 for the ceramic eggs, get the regular plastic eggs and decoupage them! So much cheaper!
ReplyDeleteOoh, and it never occured to me to start my garden in egg cartons! Thanks for the inspiration!
I thought my mom was the only one who made English Muffin pizzas!! I loved these little goodies. I think I'll get some to make with my son this week for supper. He'll get a kick out of them I'm sure :-)
