Is anyone else in a hurry to get their Christmas decorations down and start working on Valentine's Day stuff? I started thinking about V-Day about a week before Christmas was even here! Silly me. I did go to Target the day after Christmas and they had Valentine's Day stuff in their Dollar Spot. I was beyond thrilled and stocked up on scrapbook paper, ribbons, stickers, stamp pads and more!
Now, I just need to find an elf to pack up all my Christmas decorations.... I am taking offers.... anyone? Please? I'll even feed you! I'm planning on making this for dinner tonight.
okay, I was able to make a couple initial plaques this weekend. Got the idea off of your blog. Yours are still the very cutest. But...practice makes perfect. I'm up for making a couple more.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS for the idea.
Me too! But, I actually bought my v day stuff on Christmas Eve. As I was stocking up I heard the lady on the next aisle say how stupid it was to already have V day stuff out and who would want to but it now? Uh, that would be ME! I felt sad for her that she was such a scrouge. She probably doesn't like to buy Christmas stuff in July either. Whatever.
ReplyDeleteI bought my V-day stuff last year, after the holiday of course! I am looking forward to it, though. I do have to get my girlies their gifts -- shhhh I've gotta find new iPods.
ReplyDeleteOk my hubby loves Valentine's Day but not b/c he loves to shower me in gift but b/c of the Conversation Hearts. In fact he bought a bag today. Um didn't we just have Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOh and you have totally given me an idea for a post. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteValentine's Day is one of my FAVORITE holidays! The idea of celebrating love makes me all giggly!
ReplyDeleteI always start planning too late...but not this year...thanks for the reminder!
Oh...after reading all your comments...I think I am definitely making handmade cards this year with the conversational hearts! Haven't done that in awhile...I think the kids and hubby will get a kick out of it!
