Birthday Planning - some creative help

I thought I might share a few links with some favorite recent birthday finds. As I've been working on preparing for the tot's upcoming 2nd birthday, I've run across some amazing finds from some equally talented women!

StoriaHome has some gorgeous birthday items in her etsy store. I'm amazed by her beautiful banners!
She makes these beautiful noise makers that coordinate with her banners. She also has a super cute and adorable blog.

I'm crazy about this Let's Celebrate banner by Earmark on etsy. She also has a You're Getting Hitched that would be great for a couples shower or rehearsal dinner.

Emmie Cakes has some ca-ute banners... I love this one!

[ekoh] designs has these dramatic hanging poms for sale. Of course, Martha has instructions on how to make your own poms if you're up for the challenge!

Thanks to Twitter, I ran across Deena's blog today and saw this neat thing she made for her hubby's birthday... funny, I know! I was thinking these would make perfect centerpieces for the tot's birthday! What do you think?

Guess that's all the birthday/party inspiration for today! Happy Thursday!!!

Thanks for all the sweet comments about my sick little boy. He's much, much better now! He did "share" his sickness with his loving mama, but I think I am on the mend. Hopefully, we didn't "share" with Daddy.

  6. This post was so helpful! I'm trying to plan Korbyn's birthday early (before I'm as big as a house), so I visited all the sites you listed here, and I'll probably use that sucker centerpiece idea. Glad you and Cayson are feeling better! Sicknesses this year have been awful!
